The best examples of this, of course, come from Jesus who, while predicting His crucifixion, said"Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour'? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name!"<br />I thought this was particularity powerful because this is the Son of God, knowing what the future has in store, praying that the Father is glorified. We don’t have the ability to look to see how things will work out in our life so I guess you need to “chalk it up” to faith in God to see the end…which is good!! PRAISE GOD!1 John 5:14 states, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”Another good verse is what Jesus told his disciples in John 14:27:“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
